NewsMarita Fraser, Paul Ogier, Nuha Saad and Sherna Teperson have all been invited to participate in the 2010 RBS Emerging Art Award. The winner of the $ 10,000 prize will be announced on 21 September 2010. Nairn Scott's series untitled (value added) 2008 was recently presented at the Melbourne Art Fair 2010. Three works from the series were acquired for the collection of the Grafton Regional Gallery. Matt Glenn has received a $ 10,000 New Work Grant (Emerging Artist) from the Australia Council for the Arts. Nairn Scott's exhibition The Glomesh Project is currently part of the exhibition program at the Fremantle Arts Centre in Western Australia. The exhibition runs 24 July - 19 September. www.fac.org.au Paul Donald's exhibition Spill is reviewed by Elizabeth Stanton in the current Art Guide Australia Marita Fraser is currently exhibiting at Kerstin Engholm Galerie, Vienna, 30 June - 7 September, www.kerstinengholm.com Sherna Teperson is currently exhibiting in Still at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, 9 July - 29 August .The Hawkesbury Regional Gallery is at 300 George Street, Windsor, NSW 2756. Stephanie Monteith was a finalist in the 2010 Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales with her painting Hold Up. Paul Ogier was a finalist in the 2010 Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award. His work was highly commended and The Gold Coast Art Centre acquired it for their Collection.
