NEWSMarita Fraser has been awarded an ArtStart Grant from the Australia Council. The grant will support the development of her professional artistic practice during 2010 including an upcoming solo show in Vienna, Austria and her current solo show with James Dorahy Project Space which is a featured show for Art Month Sydney. During February and March 2010 Marita is a studio resident at Artspace Sydney. Marita is also featured in the Art & Australia Family Gallery Trail activity book as part of Art Month Sydney 2010.
Ali Noble is the featured artist at Poliform for the Art Month Sydney Windows Project The Poliform showroom is at 184 Chalmers Street Surry Hills NSW 2010. James Dorahy’s work Self Portrait as and International Name Brand # 2 will be featured in Portraits from the MPRG Collection 18 March – 2 May 2010 at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Victoria. Sarah Newall’s work shelf painting and 6 flowers (Kahikatea fruit, Salvia, Camellia, Silver fern, California poppy) in fanta bottles 2009 has been acquired by the Artbank Collection. Stephanie Monteith’s work Venus 2009 has been acquired by the Artbank Collection.
